Do I need a referral to get physical therapy?

No! North Carolina is a direct access state, meaning you don’t need a referral from a physician to acquire physical therapy services. All you need to do is schedule your PT appointment.

Can my family share a treatment package?

Absolutely! As an example, if you are part of a family of 4, the 4 of you can share a 10 visit treatment package. Make sure you tell your PT you would like to transfer a visit and we’ll take care of the rest. Remember that each family member is required to first undergo an initial evaluation before treatment visits can begin.

How much will physical therapy cost me at Premier PT?

How much does physical therapy cost at an in-network physical therapy practice?

I wish I could answer this question for you. In-network physical therapy clinics cannot give you a clear and accurate number because it’s entirely dependent on your co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, length of time spent in physical therapy sessions and type of treatment received, etc. Even if you pay a co-pay or co-insurance upon checking in to each visit, you may still receive a bill in the mail months later. Surprise!

Can I file a reimbursement claim with my health insurance company for services received at Premier PT?

Absolutely! We encourage you to do so. Often times, health insurance will reimburse some of the cost of your physical therapy expenses. Premier Physical Therapy can provide you a “superbill” to assist with this process. This superbill provides you with the information required by your insurance company to submit for reimbursement. Make sure you check with your individual health insurance provider to follow their process.

How do I schedule a free 15-minute consultation and my initial evaluation?

You can schedule everything you might need right HERE on our website. If you have questions or are unable to navigate the scheduling service, please give us a call or send us a text at 980-766-9740. In case we are unavailable to answer at the time of your call, please leave your name, phone number, and reason for calling in a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.

I have Medicare and/or Medicaid for health insurance. Can I receive services at Premier Physical Therapy?

Yes, but with one caveat: Medicare and/or Medicaid cannot be billed for services rendered. In other words, as a beneficiary of one of these programs, you must confirm with Premier Physical Therapy that you do NOT want Medicare billed and that you will not file a reimbursement claim with Medicare. Therefore, you cannot be reimbursed for any cost of treatment.

The reason for this is because Medicare is very particular with where their beneficiaries are allowed to spend their healthcare dollars. Premier Physical Therapy is not a Participating Medicare Provider because we want to make decisions about your health without Medicare oversight. If you are interested in having Medicare/Medicaid pay for some of your treatment, we can help you find an appropriate in-network physical therapist.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

No, Premier PT currently operates in an appointment-only manner.

Premier Physical Therapy is located inside HardCORE Serious Fitness, an excellent personal training gym off of Statesville Road in Huntersville. The exact address is 13730 Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. Once you turn into the driveway, you’ll drive about 50 yards and the building will be in front of you to the left. See below.
