Passion of Care

I listened to a great podcast the other day about how a niche electrician markets to their target clientele. This entrepreneur was given a phenomenal piece of advice by Jim Koch, chairman of the Boston Beer Company (producer of Samuel Adams beer):

“We’re not your cheapest option, but we’re your best choice!”

That resonated with me. The electrician was not trying to get business from everyone. They were trying to produce a higher-quality service at a slightly higher price than their competition, so their target clientele was people who appreciated high-quality electrical service, not people looking for the cheapest option. It’s that simple.

Premier Physical Therapy is the same way. Sure, you can get PT at a cheaper price elsewhere, but the care provided here is of the highest quality. I’ve worked tirelessly to answer phone calls and text messages at all hours of the day and night because I want you to know that your care is of the utmost importance to me. Customer service is one of our top priorities.

Ask yourself this: how many of your doctors have given you their cell phone number?

But you have mine (980-766-9740)! And when you contact us, it’s Phil you talk to, not an answering service.

The reality is that initially, most people text or call me when something isn’t quite right, so our communication often focuses on troubleshooting. While I enjoy helping to address issues, what I’ve found over the last 2+ years is that people more frequently text and call me when something is GOOD! For example, when they’ve met their goal time in a race or have successfully re-entered their sport after a long injury absence.

And that’s because at Premier PT, we treat you like family. Truthfully, I’ve always thought the whole “we treat you like family” line is a bit cringe because it’s used as a see-through marketing ploy far too often.

But we treat you like family because we care! We know your partner’s name and kids’ names (if they’ve been shared. And if not, that’s ok too!), and we know what you do for work and your goals and why you continue to return to the office here. I share pictures of Simon and the rest of my family so you can get to know us, too. It’s a two-way street.

What results from this, along with a pinch of salt and dash (or two) of lollipop, is the best physical therapy care you’ve ever had. We’ll keep showing up for you every day, even when we’re on vacation, because that’s what you and the rest of the community need and DESERVE. Have a great rest of your day!
